Those of you considering a more paper engineered approach as a solution to the brief might be interested in this book. Amazing pull tabs / pull outs and pop ups provide an introduction to plants and their uses. Similar content presented in a visually interesting and interactive way.

Channel 4's A Cook On The Wild Side (Series 2-1990's)

 http://www.channel4.com/programmes/a-cook-on-the-wild-side/4od

Thought I'd add this 4oD link to Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall's channel 4 programme from the mid 90's which sees him travelling UK waterways by boat, foraging for and cooking with wild flora and fauna. Particularly worth seeing is episode 3 where Hugh enlists the help of 3 boys to hunt for woodlouse in order to make "beignets de crevettes de bois aux champignons sauvages" or woodlouse fritters to you and me, mmmmm......

Free registration to 4oD required to view.
